HEY two-oh-four!

Woohoo! it's been so long since i had last posted (: aren't all of you looking forward to a reunion? ( si yi goes "YEAH", zeslene claps in delight, and seepee shrieks joyfully xD HAHA this is TOTALLY random) hmm so here am I calling out for ideas for our class reunion, which is most likely going to happen between 12 & 23 Dec [after OSL & before Xmas/orientation], so please throw in your wonderful plans and random thoughts by posting here on our blog or email me via hui2lan@hotmail.com ok? Don't just post on the tagboard cos your precious ideas will be lost in time and we don't want that to happen :(

One more thing, any volunteers to be the main team in charge for this reunion? About 4-6 people will be good! HELLO I AM BACK WITH NEWS OF SOMETHINGOOD! :D if you cannot remember / still don't know what is it about, please check the PREVIOUS POST!

talked to nata and ky about busking and they say that we can do a 1965 AGAIN! :) this is amazing! so hands up for people who are actually up to our FARMERS AND TOWKAYS, WAY BEFORE THE HIGHWAYS! :D because i spoke to siyi and liting today, and they're for it; and miffy, i trust you are reading this! and yes, maybe they will do the ACP 'my heart will go on' thing on their own, so we need people to do other stuff! andrea was suggesting dance, and jiayun may play her flute, so it's all good :D

spill in ideas. we can all go together and rock ~~the world~~ orchard road down!

alright so here goes: who's interested in joining the rendition of 1965 / other songs? if you don't want to sing, it's okay - we need dancers and action people (remember the broomstick / sign panel people!), or intruments. i think lanya is going to play the pipa with another of her CO friends in another event :D so yep basically keep going! :D

hello twofourers :D missed yall loads.

i apologize for this shameless advertisement, but anyway, here goes because all of you are such wonderful souls!

take a look at SOMETHINGOOD, a charity busking festival held between june 10-25. please consider canning / busking, especially the latter! if you can sing arcapella, groove out to muzaaaak (and there are people in this class who are very talented at this, think national day o5!), act (ahem and drama night!), play instruments (yesss :D) or anything performance-related, do consider busking :)

to summarize everything, you can sign up for 1 hour slots, though of course more time would be appreciated! :) and cip hours are given. it will be a lot of fun, and most importantly, you'll be doing SOMETHINGOOD! ohyes, and spread the message around - it will be great if we can get non-204/rgs people involved. though if 204ers go together for a particular performance, even if only for an hour, that will be splendidly awesome :)

please contact me or ky if you have questions / want to register your group for busking. thanks! ^____^

hey everyone =)

haven't been blogging here for quite a while, maybe cos i've got my own blog. but that isn't the point. the point is, i'm back!

why?

cos i miss this place, the place that we can visit online that reminds us of who we are (204ers), and the fun we had together. i'm sorry if thinking about 204'05 is gonna make u cry and stuff, but i think they're nice things to think of.
remember how we won all the interclass stuff not just because we were (and still are) the best? yes, we rocked and bouldered all the way =).

oh yes, i miss everyone. i heart 204'05 as much as any other 204er would =)
remember audrey's loud sneezes and outbursts?
or lanya's dozing off during chinese n still scoring a 4.0 GPA?
and how every other teacher would have difficulties pronoucing shusi's name?

HEY TWOFOUR!!

since our class bday is only less than 2 months away, we might as well start doing abit of planning right now! xD

since the 2nd of april is a sunday, we could:

1) have it on a saturday by making every 204 go for house prac that day xD
2) have it on the following tuesday (4/4/06), since it seems to be a better day than monday cos most ppl have cca and stuff on monday afternoons and its a 6-block day for my class x| plus if we're really really lucky we might have all the same lunches on tuesday and we could have it then instead of having it after school
3) have it on friday after sports fest! not too sure whether this will work out well, but it might just work out! we just hafta hope that there wont be any house dinners or any of those sort of stuff on that day x|

so yup i guess it has to be one of those 3 days! can we have a cake again? :D and if we have any extra slices we can give them to our sec 2 teachers to thank them and all! xD xD (ms wong forgot most of our names, btw xD

how's every one?

fancy i staying up till 2+am on the 3rd day of chinese new year. i suddenly thought of 204, again, and how i wouldn't get a chance--would forget--to come to this site if i don't do it now. Absence really makes the heart grow fonder, and reading the past entries make my heart sour. You know, just that sour-bitter kind of feeling. How's every one's class? Gratefully mine's fabulous! I know yours' too (: and even if things may not be all-so-well, like how you wish everything could be like last year, your class could be like twofourohfive, don't lose heart man. Don't. Because 3(insert)ohsix will be yet another special memory in the journey to come. this is what keeps me moving on.

haha for me i'm adjusting as quickly as i can to take the back seat when it comes to class stuff. and i'm slowly savouring the feeling of having a class chair and and asking the class chair about class stuff. for the first time in my life went through the tedious but exciting class comm election whole! (i'm internal environmental rep :P). and how weird it feels to empty the folder in my file that's always reserved for class notices. and forgetting about that green, superficially-scratched badge but never 1/04, 20/4.

heyyy 204!! i really miss y'all muchly ): and i was just listening to a song that reminded me so much of 204 that i decided post here and maybe put down some of the lyrics x| absence really makes the heart grow fonder, doesnt it? back in 05 i couldnt wait for the year to end, so that i can finally have a good long break. but right now, i realised how great we were, how we were always there for each other and i'd do anything to relive those days. but nothing will ever be the same again :( in this few days i realised that the competitions and games and awards we won werent the only things that made 204 such a great class. it was the laughter, the fun, and all the times we had together in the classroom that truly made us what we were and i know one day we'd all realise that those times we had together were more important and greater than any competition or whatsoever that we won in the 2 years. it's a pity we only learn to appreciate good times after they are gone and booo im seriously bummed out bout that.

i remember how we'll all stay up late to chiong pts, test each other on A SENSE OF BELONGING AND OTHER SHORT STORIES right before the test, the enthusiasm to do our best for RHD, NET CARN, NATIONAL DAY, DRAMA NIGHT and whatnot.

our lovely CO clan which i always ask to shut up. hahahahha. but somehow they manage to put up such an amazing concert.

nata our beloved cartoonist. whom we always look to when asked for someone who can draw.

yunyi the tallest girl in the class. who acts innocent even though she's not but yet incredibly lovable.

andrea our lovely dancer. our dearest peri and ms wong's #1 fan.

zeslene the mumbler. and yet so talented at lit. she's deeeeeeeep

yuan the spasticated one. -RETARDED LOOK 'nuff said.

daveen the chao ji smart one. she belongs in GEP! but we're still glad to have her around.

huihui the one who hums during tests. great leader with lots of ideas but maybe you should stop singing. teeheehee.

Hey 204,

its really been such a long time since school closed, and the fact that we are not going to be in the same class next year continues resurfacing and sinking in. I don't know how many of us are sad about that, to see such a great class have to end, but yes, we end in the present, but not in the future, and definitely not in the past!

just wanna encourage all of you, no matter how late you are going to see this post, that most of us still believe in this class, still believe in the the spirit of unity and ethusiastiam, still believe in 204.

even if you feel down and sad, remember us. :D if you feel out of place in your new class, remember us. remember that and bring our spirit over, translate your courage and have the time of your life :D

of course i will miss you, miss the times we had, the friend's i've made, the many things we crapped and did together! but more than that we have to move on, we have to find ourselves again, amidst the new classmates we will have. unfortunately or otherwise, we will change and we will be different, and that will make you, and the people around you. but the you that i will miss, will be the you that i remember, and perhaps one day you'll believe that you aren't that you anymore, and you feel sad for the change that has become, remember that the you you were once, lives forever in my memory, and the memory of the rest of us who know you and love you.

204 twothousandandfive, a story and a legacy that will be engraved on the hearts of the thrityfive and more lives that were touched by you. by every single special one of you, and for that, i say thank you. remember the time we first met?
(waha, doesn't it sound like some lover talking? yes, i'm in love with 204'05 xD)

and how we worked towards our first class project?

we struggled (maybe not all of us), through pts, tests, assignments and exams, in hope of achieving that magic number, "4.0" in our progress reports, and before we knew it, we were sec 2...

from mortals to angels, i suppose we died?

duh not.

surviving 2004 was no feat, considering the bonds of trust we had amongst us to strengthen us to overcome the many obstacles we faced, one example was netcarn 2004, where we defeated the others and emerged overall champions :))).

special thanks to nat, for her design of our beloved class tee :D

2005, a year where some of us became the animal game champions, the snake-turned-zebra, the blushing elephant, the boxing kangaroo, just to name a few...

during class, we scribbled notes to our mortals, of whom we were the guardian angels of ...

digression was ever-present, in any group, any piece of group work, from RS to lit :))

the class of mental patients we were named, (quote mrs mak aka our doctor), and we had a new member in our class, betty-lucy liu, register no. 36, my evil frail twin as u should have already noticed ;D

204'05, was (and still is), the self-proclaimed best sec 2 class.

and juz to refresh your memory on the FOUR reasons why...

one: we put up the most entertaining performance on racial harmony day, entitled, the gifts of wali dad, where our dear royalties had a bogus marriage xD, even though we had lotsa disagreements during the preparation and their queen had disappeared to vienna for musical reasons...

and of course, we won. xD

with a hurhur, i must really thank our dearest audrey for staying up with huihui, zes and yuling to complete our rhyming script :D

two: remember that song of singapore, using that catchy tune of 1985?" 1965 was the song, where our rockers zes, nat, sp and kay strummed on the bristles of the broomsticks and the 1965 pple were cute with their different formations...

we were the best (note: we still are..), but they begged to differ...

so we won first...

but with the audience's support, in our hearts, we know, we're no. 1.

three: netcarn, a platform to show off why we're the best (again xD)
defeating all classes: winning 11/12 games and only drawing 1/12 games, 204'05 displayed class spirit and their fantastic netball skills on the netball courts.

we really tried to play our worst. and we're so disappointed that we won.

four: drama nite'05...with a mozzie sting here and a case of dengue fever there, we beat 9 other classes and emerged as finalists, in our award winning play, "Scarcy Dengue, Many Mozzie". our choral speakers dressed up in a modification of our rgs uniform, complete with a pair of ponytails, and our friendly neighbours killed the 2 white striped aussie mozzies xP.

special thanks to everyone who contributed to our play as props pple, lights pple and of course, the cast.

hi 204ers.

here i am, cause i dont want to start on Christmas cards yet [my handwriting is toooo ugly ): ]. so i shall blog about THE 20405. yup, here goes.

these two years have been a blast for me. in fact, they just whizzed by so fast i couldnt stop to think. to feel. to breatheeee.

it seemed some time ago maybe, we had orientation 2004 (: it was so fun i really loved my class.
then we had netball carn 2005. seeing everyone cheering for everyone else was different, but somehow nice.
next it was speech and drama night. i can still remember how happy everyone was when they announced the results for the preliminary rounds. i cant believe i felt happy just because other people were happy.

these were the more memorable class stuff that i remembered lah. im obviously not used to participating actively in class. yea.

i dont think you all see it this way, but the point of my post is to tell all 204ers like - thanks for helping me grow up. thanks for being there around me. thanks for even letting me be in with this bunch of people. i may not be talking to you everyday or may not be very nice to you. but the thing is, i would really feel so very lost without the oh-so-common faces i see when i trudge into class each day. yup, and of course, i will miss you all. (:

Words don't suffice. I can fully understand that, as can everyone one of you twofourers, that when it comes to something as indescribable as twofour'05, words don't suffice. They never will.
[But here I am, using words. -_-''']
But here I am, yes, not because I'm bored or whatsoever, but because I just want you to know that this two-year journey we've gone through together, all the standing out from others till we get sores all over our legs, has allowed me a chance to understand what it means to have 35 people standing by me through thick and thin, allowed me a chance to say I've truly understood the meaning of unity, allowed me a chance to say I've grown, WE'VE grown.
Onefour'04/Twofour'5 changed me, changed my life from one that circled around me, myself, I to one that teaches me about the people around who cares and whom I care about.
Yeah, changed me. Like how I'll change (probably for the worse) again with different classmates around, like how all of you will change too, because change is inevitable, that I know. But it's the memories, the moments, the dreams that we've had together (quote Zeslene) that will pull us through, those are the things that will never change.
The little little idiosyncrasies that make us twofour’05...
I'm sure you'll remember them.
How you'll never have to worry about keeping a conversation going with Audrey 'cause she's gonna take good care of everything, so you just be rest assured and hear her out.
You'll remember this great leader of ours who's so in love with herself she forsakes others' lives to save herself when the Mafias or however you spell it did not even throw a glance in her direction.
You'll remember how some GREAT Lit reps will get a teacher to book the whole class (or did she say electrocute?) because SOME of us failed to hand in a few pieces of work.
And when in future you look at one of the greatest basketballers on earth, you'll remember this person brings urine to school for her coach. How nice.
You'll remember how poet Mao will go jumping around in J104, picking her target and waiting till her target meets her gaze, then she'll raise this right hand with a thumb and finger jutting out in the shape of a revolver, and she'll go "BANG! Heh.Heh.Heh." Then, she hops away for a second target.
You'll remember when our dear Audrey becomes so infatuated with Mr.Strawberry she cries out his name in hysteria right in the middle of a Lit lesson and earns a bemused look from the teacher followed by a "Philo?"
You'll remember how Shusi goes around complimenting people by saying they smell like poo, only reason those are compliments is because she loves poo to the point of idiocy.
And someday when you once again walk near Block J, you'll recall how someone will walk from the canteen all the way back to J104 because she wanted to thank her friend for holding the door open to let her pass.
You'll remember when you stroll right into e416 one fine day after recess and see these two crazy people running all around trying to aim erasers at each other's murukus.
You'll remember how someone can sing so well but just refuses to sing even when her good friend pesters her the whole JOURNEY up e416 all the way from the canteen. Up till now, she hasn't sung yet. Yiu sum, your persuasion skills are so lousy. (Oops.)
[edit]You'll also remember how people can just play with the yo-yo soooo well. Right Yiu Sum? Hit the yo-yo on the ground when you're standing on the floor. Then, thinking its probably because you're too short, you stand on the chair. Then you hit the chair with the yo-yo too. -_- [edit]
Next time you look into the magazine and see your horoscope, you'll remember group discussions, how you were initially supposed to talk about why Singapore wanted merger, and how in the end, you were discussing about ARIES.
You'll remember how the doctor got irritated with someone whom she had brandished her hand at to summon for a refill of twofour’s wonderful hand-make cookies, but instead, got a wave back from that person.
You might also remember how, under the majestic SUN, this CHAP continually refuses to take a shoot with the hairy basketball, (probably because she didn't want to humiliate her other team members by showing them how well she could shoot. -_-'').
Air-conditioner at full blast, everyone's in either a pullover or a jacket, and she's walking around without the protection of her shoes, just the socks covering her feet. Nice one, Liting. But you don't have to let the world know you have so very nice feet. :D

So much more. There's so much more, like how Sp will give anything to be a scribe because, yeah we all know she has wonderful handwriting, so does she. How Yiyun can come up with the world's fantabulous-est suggestions like having a class bikini, how Zeslene will crack up at the most senseless things and remain expressionless at the funniest joke on earth, and how Vivian tries to apply axe oil to my seat so that my butt will get axe oil too and how, in the end, she's the one who gets it. So I want to offer you a very valuable piece of advice, Vivian Siah, from Mrs Tay York Lan, that is, to always remember to check your chair before you sit on it.

Location ALOHA CHANGI – Netheravon terraces (ours is bungalow B)
The double-storey terraces are fully furbished with living room set with TV and games table; dining area; 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, furbished with beds (1 queen-sized and 4 single-sized), wardrobe, dresser, bedside table and wall fan; 3 toilets /bath with shower heater; BBQ pit and a fully equipped kitchen.

Regulations
All successful applicants for bungalows and chalets in aloha Changi and aloha Loyang(hereinafter "Occupants") are required to comply with the following regulations:
1. The above 2 resorts are for the use of Occupants, their relatives and guests .Occupants,their relatives and guests are to abide by these regulations.
2. Subletting of the bungalows and/or chalets is not permitted
3. Occupants should observe the recommended capacity of each chalet published in the aloha website under "Chalet amenities" of the respective resort.The Government reserves the right to request Occupants who are found to have violated this regulation to leave the resort.
4. Occupants will permit reasonable access and inspection of their bungalows and/or chalets by authorised agents of the Government at all reasonable times.
5. Users of the pool & Jacuzzi at aloha loyang must be attired in proper swim wear and comply with all rules and regulations on the use of the pool displayed at the pool concourse.
6. Occupants must personally book the use of tennis court at the aloha loyang reception. Such bookings are to be made 1 day in advance, on a first-come-first-serve basis. Each Occupant is allowed to book for a maximum of 1 hour per court on Saturdays, Sundays and Public holidays. Occupants ,their relatives and guests without proper footwear will not be allowed to use the courts.
7. Occupants who wish to set up tent or marquee at the resort premises will have to pay a fee of $150.
8. Occupants are responsible for any breakage, loss or damage to any property in their bungalow, chalet and resort grounds and are required to pay for the costs of repairs or replacements.
9. All charges payable (breakage, loss, air-con, rental of items, tent/marquee fee, etc) are to paid via NETS or Cashcard upon check-out.
10 Professional sound systems with tower speakers and sub-woofer are not allowed within the resort premises. We reserve the right to terminate the booking of any Occupant found to have violated this regulation and/or disturbing his/her neighbouring chalets. No refunds on the booking will be given in such cases.

11. No pets are allowed within the chalet and resort premises. We reserve the right to terminate the booking of an Occupant should the Occupant be found bringing in any pets to within the bungalows, chalets and resort grounds. No refunds on the booking will be given in such cases. The Occupant may also be disqualified from using all aloha Resorts in future
12. The Government reserves the right to take any action it considers necessary against any Occupant, his/her relatives and guests found misusing a bungalow and/or chalet, the resort premises or violating these regulations.This includes immediate cancellation of an Occupant's application or teminating his stay without refunding the rental and disqualifying him from using all aloha Resorts in future.

Here is some useful information that you may want to take note of during your stay at aloha Changi and aloha Loyang.
1. Check-in & Out Timings Check-in time : 3:30pm to 7:30pm
Check-out time : 8:30am to 10:30am

Users of the club facilities are liable for their own behaviour and action and are expected to comply with the clubs' terms & conditions on the use of facilities. You will receive a "friends of aloha " card upon your check-in.
5. Shuttle bus services to & fro aloha loyang and Pasir Ris MRT are available. Do check out the aloha website for bus timings.

By Car

If you're coming from the north, take SLE/TPE, and exit to Loyang Ave (towards Changi Village). *Go along Loyang Ave (it's quite a long and windy route) and turn left into Cranwell Road. Our chalets are sprouted along Cranwell, Gosport, Andover, Leuchars, Catterick, Netheravon, Halton, Sealand and Biggin Hill Roads. You can check out our map to see where your chalet is located and follow the routes laid out there.

If you're coming from the west, you can either take AYE/ECP or PIE to TPE/SLE, and exit to Loyang Ave (towards Changi Village). The rest is similar to above directions.

Take the east bound train to Tampines MRT station. From there, you can take Bus 29. You can check our map to see where you should alight, depending on where your chalet is located.

hey 204ers!

even though i was unable to be present at DRAMA NIGHT'05, i know that all of you, all of us, put in TREMENDOUS EFFORT. good job people! im sure everyone learnt something or at least gained experience from this and that's really all that matter cos success is a journey, not a destination. we've come so far together so let us just journey on cos this is not the end, as there are still many more challenges ahead of us. as we go to different classes and take up different subject combis, i just hope that we'll all remember and be proud that we were from 204'05, the class that gone through absolutely anything and everything together.

This is info for NET CARN

Sorry it's so late, just got home, but because yiyun reminded me to I have to provide yall with this info even though it's either already known or irrelevant, SO:

Cheering:
Cheer cannot be more than one minute.
CHEERING performance, not CHEERLEADING.
Verbal cheering can only come from the cheerers, that means players cannot cheer.

Game:
Only 7 minutes, no change of goal ends so no halftime I think.
Substituition only allowed when a player is injured.
NO jewellery (ALL types of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc.) AND watches allowed.
Fingernails must be trimmed short. Nail clippers will be available on loan.

PLAYERS MUST WEAR SCHOOL/CLASS TEE AND PE SHORTS. Can wear sports shoes but rules for socks still apply. (That means must be able to see socks from all angles. Hurhur like got transparent shoe liddat. Can see the socks from the sole meh)

All:
"Unsporting" behaviour not tolerated. Includes questioning umpire's decidion, making negative comments about umpire, jeering other players or supporters. Guilty classes will be given a zero for that game or competition.

WE NEED AN APPOINTED SCORER IF NOT WE ARE DISQUALIFIED. We'll just appoint someone tmrw. Whatever.

the rehearsal tomorrow during research studies is NOT a fulldress rehearsal. you do NOT need to wear your costumes. however, you MUST bring your recorders, whatever prop items.

secondly, ART.
art group, very very sorry for chasing yall but the performance group MUST have your artwork summaries and stuff. we will be frank- we need your art plans in order to place it in the performance outline which is a MAJOR part of the entire proposal.

so art group please hurry, chase, call, yoink, murder whoever who requires pressing. the performance groups says that it dussen matter if your art work is not entirely relevant. the bunch of crappers at the performance group will do some sort of way off-hand analysis of your art work and churn up some lit-like description that has to do with fantasy and reality.

so tmr bring artwork, camera, whatever yall need to do your stuff.

thirdly, COOKING GROUP. shihui from the art group -i believe, correct me if i'm wrong- needs the final menu DESPERATELY. the hostess / souvenir group -i believe- requires your menu desperately as well to design the menu. please get this done by tomorrow morning when we get to school, or even better, today. and send a final copy to the performance group as well so we can incorporate it into the outline. thank you!

art group: please get artworks related to fantasy / reality and their respective writeups done by friday. send it to the performance group please. artworks does not need to consist of paintings, drawings and that kind of cliche thing- it can be clothing etc. you're expected to entertain them for half an hour (or more). needlework bags and stuff can be included.

cooking group: please include sweet corn into your appetizers, and submit the menu to my email account by 11.59pm tonight. and yes don't worry i'll be up receiving your email.

souvenir group: the pencil holder plan is fine. deadlines as accordingly, it's alright if you just finish on wednesday.

performance group: (uhh i guess i'm in here) we need the script and performance outline by wednesday (doh!) and blah the problem is we have another half an hour to fill up.

props group (if theres even one in the first place): we're trying to keep the play as simple as possible. so yall won't need to spend so much time on the props.. well basically cos we do need to have some props can we have a show of hands how many people can actually spend time to do props, and in what sort of quantity. we're not expecting rhd-scale though, or even nationalday-scale.. maybe just enough small stuff like tinsel and boxes?

and of course the script.
it's modified from the previous one. basically our first scene is smth about jack and rose sitting on a hill, admiring stars, eating sweet corn (this part of plot courtesy of zeslene) and after that, they dance in the moonlight (and yes we need people to dance) and then heckknowswhatwe'lldonext but we'll get something up and running.

and art group, we would be hugelyhugelyhugely thankful to you if you can end off your art display in some sort of artistic fashion, something connected to sitting on a hill and watching stars, so the entire performance isn't disjointed.

Yo 204ers! :D

Although it seems really early to be talking about this now, Sipei, Siyi and I are thinking of having a 204 halloween party on halloween which is the 31st October. It is not far okay! Its uber near and there are preparations which must be done after eoys. XD So we just want to ask for suggestions if yall are interested in having such a halloween party. All of us will dress up as scary stuffies and go trick or treating at 204 ppl's hses! (Parental consent needed. Maybe max 7 hses? And hopefully quite close? LOL) Then since halloween is on a monday, we can try applying for sleepover approval in school or smthing. But of couse, if this idea seems to impossible, we can do the halloween thing on sunday/saturday instead! :D

hi all. yea, this is regarding netball training again. ><

hmm, tomorrow's training is being cancelled because majority arent free to come down yea. sorry for the late notice and the trouble ppl.

after discussions with huihui, we decided to make some changes..

Venue: School Netball Courts (remains the same)
Time: 8am - 11am [may end earlier though] (we changed it 'cos by 11+, the sun would
be shining very brightly)

Dates: All the saturdays starting from 1st Oct'05 to 8th Oct'05.

just 2 weeks of training so please try your best to come down for training. but if you are reluctant to then yea, the choice still lies in your hand. hehh.

SELECTION OF PLAYERS
no. of players allowed: 10-15

SHOOTING COMPETITION
3 shooters. details will be given at a later date.

CHEERING COMPETITION
10 cheerers.
Criteria:
- words/lyrics must be audible.
-Lyrics (5m)- Originality (3m): to be creative and no questionable lyrics.
-Suitability to the theme/title (2m) there must be connection
-Movements/ Actions (4m)- suitable and engaging
-Attire (3m)- NEATNESS! no need for elaborate costumes, as long as you are presentable.
-Synchrony & Flow (5m)- Self-explanatory, the whole presentation has to be smooth.

Class FLag/Banner Competition
Deadline: 7 OCTOBER
no specific no. of pupils. you may submit the flag/banner anytime before the deadline.

T-Shirt Printing (NOT COMPULSORY)

Although there is NO T Shirt Design Competition, classes are still allowed to print class T-Shirts. The proper procedure applies - i.e. get the proposal form from the office and submit the proposal and design (with you formteacher's approval) to ms mariette ong.

ello there mates! haha, yea i rarely post here so now that yuan's here, all of you should know what it's regarding about. NETBALL CARN.

okie according to the date given to us, our carnival is just 3 days after eoys which is on a wednesday, 26th Oct i think -edited-. and i dont think last minute training over the weekend will be sufficient. so yea, i've kinda discussed it with huihui, nat and olly and we decided that netball 2 to 3 weeks and stop either on week 5/6.

Venue: School Netball Courts
Time: 9.30am - 12pm (at the most)
Starting Date: 24th Sept.

ALL PLAYERS & SHOOTERS ARE REQUIRED TO COME DOWN, unless you have other activities on but please please, try your best yea? we're really runnin' out of time and we DO wanna win netball carn this year and be champs for the second year running ya ppl? =DD

there will be tryouts held for shooters too, er yep we'll be informing yall.

hey 204! i guess most of you are not too sure about the shirt specifications so i shall list them here xD (since i have XS, S and M shirts xD xD)

but before that here was wat the class roughly ordered last year. we had about <5 XXS shirts 10+ XS shirts, around 20+ S shirts and not sure if there were any M shirts but maybe there were a few. this year we have no xxs, 3 xs, 20+ S, a couple of Ms and 2 Ls. i understand that you guys wanna wear the shirt for life but i dont think u guys will grow too much anymore so pls dont be too outrageous and buy an XL or something when u are an XXS. xD xD

a size 34 = XXS, size 36 = XS, size 38 = S and size 40 (but looks more like 42 xD) = M. i roughly measured my xs, s and m shirts and here are the measurements!

XS = 18 inch wide (from 1 side of the shirt to the other), so total (including back) = 36 inch

S = 19-20 inches wide, total = roughly 39 inches

M = 21 inches wide, total = 42 inches

hahaha i have no idea what an L would look like but it'll definitely be humongous cos the sizes go by guy's sizes xD. i'll be bringing my m-size lyfe shirt to the banner painting session tmrw so painters will get to see the shirt xD

anyways i came up with 2 designs for the class tee fronts! they are actually the same thing cept that 1 has more stuff than the other. they arent really final yet cos i might add some more stuff on it xD. might change to fit the style of the back if necessary too xD click for larger view!

With its award-winning play The Gifts of Wali Dad, 204 clinched the first prize for Racial Harmony Day!

Featuring various students from the class in roles of nobility, generosity, kindness and love, 204 impressed the audience and judges with the play's ultimate splendour. Ranging from intricate costumes to the mighty props, every effort had been exhausted to produce this marvellous piece.

Throughout the play, the cast exhibited ravishing acting through cries of desperation, wordless flirtation, silent actions in addition to others. With a humourous yet educational plot and unique acting, the audience were no doubt blown away. The backstage crew contributed to the play's success with efficient movement of props and such.

HEYY TWOFOUR! WE WON! WE WON! All the effort we put in were worth it!! The two long nights for the script writing, hours of props making, rehearsals, recess sacrifices, the Tuesday rehearsal that only saw us going home at 7pm, were all worth it! Even though we worked extremely hard until the extent that some other things may have been neglected, it has eventually all paid off. WE ARE THE BEST! :)

Congratulations again! Two hundred and four cheers for two oh four! Hip hip hooray!

Thanks must also go to friends from other classes who kindly provided us with beautiful costumes! :) We would never be anywhere without them.

hello! sipei here to inform all those involved in the national day thing that there will be THREE REHEARSALS! here are the dates:

22nd July Friday (after RHD) 2-5 PM @ Ampitheatre
29th July Friday 2-5 PM @ Ampitheatre/ Hall
2nd August Tuesday 2-5 PM @ Ampitheatre/ Hall

EVERYONE THATS INVOLVED, PLEASE DO STAY BACK on all three dates. uhh im not sure why the tuesday ones starts at 2 but maybe its a typo. please bring ur clothes along! NO ONE IS TO PON! ALL THE AUDITION PPL HAVE TO TURN UP!

but as time passed came up with a plan
with SiPei threatening to kick some ass
they sacrificed lunch as well as recess
Practised and practised without rest
& them being them did not protest
so bit by bit they made progress
& on the day of the ultimate test

HEY WONDERFUL TWOFOUR! just to inform u all we have finished all the props! whoooo! u all shld see the blue cloth.. its beautiful! and the palace is great =) thanks alot to zhiying jiayue and quli for coming so early to do it today!

we need MORE chocolate coins! yes pls bring or else we will have to use the class fund to buy and our class fund is pathetically little. later not enough for chalet then we will have to pay. so please bring if u have! and please stop eating those that are there! i promise u all can have them after racial harmony day =)

hellow twofour =) i was just looking through our archives and i realized how very far we've come.. from J104 to E416. all those homework stuff that used to be posted that we've (okay, well, I'VE) already forgotten. lit presentations, chinese reports, history worksheets.. sec one wasn't so long ago, was it?

xiang dang nian.. *reminisces*

enough of my nonsense. there will be an official full-dress rehearsal tomorrow at the amphitheatre after school. everyone has to go.. we're really really sorry that you might have to miss third language or CCA because of it. (i'm sorry if i contradict, but i'm not going either..) everyone has to try and turn up.

to be honest, huihui said that it was probably just to run through the settings on that day. where people would enter, speak, etc. so.. hopefully yall can turn up?

on another note, there is quite a lot of work to be done. maths pt, chinese pt, zuoye, (studying for) lit and history, yadda yadda. so yeah.. here's just a reminder that maths is due next tuesday. jiayou everyone! good luck with all your graphs, calculations, reports and statistics.
